Lesson Rates
Lessons:

$75/hour on either your horse, or a lesson horse we provide.Packages of monthly lessons (one per week) can be purchased for $300 (These must be used with 60 days. No make up for lessons not taken after that time, unless special circumstances are discussed first with Management). Other options can be discussed on a individual basis.
Months with multiple training days are as follows:

Two lessons per week – $550/month

Three lessons per week – $800/month

Military Rate (with proof of current service): $55/hour
Packages of monthly lessons are $250, with same restrictions as above.

Training Options:

Full Show Horse Training: $500 per month
Horses are handled (riding, lunging, and/or hot walker) 4-5 days per week, according to weather and show schedule. Horses will be blanketed and given lunch as necessary (does not include price of feed). Includes at least one lesson per week with Sara, if weather and show schedule permits. No make up for lessons not taken, unless scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Lessons not cumulative.

3/4 Show Horse Training: $350 per month
Horses are handled (riding, lunging, and/or hot walker) 3-4 days per week, according to weather and show schedule. Horses will be blanketed and given lunch as necessary (does not include price of feed). Includes at least one lesson per week with Sara, if weather and show schedule permits. No make up for lessons not taken, unless scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Lessons not cumulative.

Full Horse Care: $250 per month
Horses grooming and exercise needs are met 4 -5 days per week (turn out, hot walking, hand walking etc. as necessary). Horses will be blanketed and delivered a mid-day lunch as necessary (does not include price of feed).

Partial Horse Care: $225 per month
Horses grooming and exercise needs are met three days per week (turn out, hot walking, hand walking etc. as necessary). Horses will be blanketed and delivered a mid-day lunch as necessary (does not include price of feed).

A la Carte

Blanketing Service: $2 per day | $45 per month
No charge for horses in care or training.

Extra Feeding (mid-day): $2 per day | $25 per month
No charge for horses in care or training. Meal options include: Strategy, Triple Crown Complete, Rice Bran, Beet Pulp, and Alfmo. Feed prices will be determined by portion size and meal choice. Rate is subject to change according to fluctuation in feed prices. All supplements are to be supplied by owner.
Show Expenses Day Charge:

1 horse: $100 per day

Each add’l horse: $25/ea per day

All show expenses (lodging, transportation, food, etc.) will be added together and divided by the number of horses.

Trailering: 50 cents/mile or $50 (whichever is greater)

Local/Incidental hauling may also be subject to an hourly charge should driver have to wait for horse(s) in addition to mileage. Owners are responsible for the cost of repair or replacement for damage/breakage/loss to trailer/truck/equipment caused by owner or owner’s horse.

What Else Should I Know?:



We give all active and retired Military a 10% discount on all services.
Sales transactions for horses and/or equipment are subject to a 10% sales commission ($500 minimum on horses). California Sales Tax may be applicable.
Bills are due on the first of each month. Checks received after 6pm on the 5th are considered late and subject to a $15 fee per horse. Returned checks are subject to a $25 fee.
Monies paid out by Sara Blann Training for any necessary upkeep of horse will be subject to a 15% fee.
We observe all major holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, Thanksgiving, and Christmas

Ranch Hours: 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM 6 days per week (Closed Mondays)
Business Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Thursday through Tuesday
