Private Riding Lessons at Camulos Farm

Camulos Farm offers private riding instruction for riders ages 6 and up, from beginners through advanced riders. Our program emphasizes developing confident, capable horsemen and women through a strong partnership between horse and rider. Instruction is available in Three-Day Eventing, Dressage, Western Dressage, and Jumpers, with horsemanship and horse care incorporated throughout the learning experience.

Horses are available for riders who do not own their own. Our horses are performance horses that also happen to be exceptional teachers.

Start with an Assessment Lesson

Every new student begins with a private Assessment Lesson. This approximately one-hour sessions gives us a chance to evaluate the rider’s current skills, experience, confidence, and goals while introducing them to the Camulos Farm approach. It also allows us to determine the best horse and lesson plan moving forward.

Assessment Lesson • Approximately 1 Hour $50

What to Expect from Your Lessons

Lessons at Camulos Farm are private and individually tailored to each rider. Plan to spend approximately 1½ – 2 hours at the farm. Riding time is only part of the experience – students also learn grooming, tacking, horse care, safety, and the practical horsemanship skills that create capable, independent riders.
